Steadying Ourselves During Turbulent Times

In challenging times, we can forget who we are, and this is reflected in how we treat ourselves and others. In my February newsletter, I wrote about loving kindness towards ourselves and each other. This month, my helping spirits gave me information about how humans can keep steady during times that are turbulent, such as these.

I was given some powerful messages about shining our own Light. While in a shamanic journey, I was brought to a dimension where I have been working with a certain group of helping spirits who often come to me in my dreams when life gets busy and I am unable to work with them in a shamanic journey during the day.

As these spirit allies brought me beyond the bounds of this planet’s gravitational pull and into deep space, the concept of “up” and “down” was dissolved. There was nothing but an infinite expanse of the Universe. There was no pull “down,” nor any sense that there was an “up.” They showed me that the concept of “better than” or “less than” is borne from a hierarchal notion, and is nothing more than a human construct and misinterpretation of what Spirit means to “shine.”

These allies showed me that being light is much simpler than our egoic minds make it out to be. They said that it is actually the process of going deeply within the divine frequency of our own hearts that opens our capacity to shine, because when we go within, we access our own Light. This Light isn’t measurable against anything else - it just is. We don’t compare snowflakes or birds, so why would we compare ourselves with each other? The truth is, we are all a part of this Great Creation, and we can forget this - especially during turbulent times.

“When other humans come more into the frequency that is resonant with your own, you become aligned, calm, and open-hearted. When you attempt to align with those who are not of your frequency, you actually compromise and diminish your light. In essence, you disempower yourselves.” However, they are clear that this doesn’t mean we dismiss attempts to understand others in which we do not resonate with. My helping spirits showed me that ways to discern this is by dropping into one’s intuition, or “gut” feeling regarding particular situations and experiences. Practicing mindfulness and embodiment were also shown as useful tools to navigate turbulence.

My allies continued, “The truth of who you are is not dependent on the intense external energies this planet is navigating. The energies are changing at a rapid rate, and because we are all One and are all interconnected, humans are changing with it. It may not be comfortable, however it is so important to sink into and return to your own Light as often as possible, to feel secure and ‘at home’ while the waves of change move through you and around you.”

In essence, when we shine our own Light and hold others in the Light of radiance, sovereignty, wellness, and peace, we are positively impacting the collective and the denser energies that often occur from the complex matrix created from our collective thinking minds. Our individual lights working together have the capacity to create a very loving vibration - a web of love and light - throughout this world, which can ripple outward to every being on this planet and beyond our solar system. “Center yourselves during the current intense energies in this dimension that might disempower your Light. Navigate into your heart to know the truth of who you are and from this place, shine.”
