Rise of the Feminine: A New Perspective

In a recent Spirit World exploration built on a mere curious question, my helping spirits surprised me with an experience. They always seem to keep me on my toes, but what they showed me was awe-inspiring. They showed me the body of the Earth overlayed with a delicate silk-like sheet, which to me, represented the holographic dimension of the Spirit World over the Earth. My helping spirits brought me through the veil between the worlds, which seemed surprisingly translucent and threadbare. What I understood was that the potential for the veil to tatter soon is eminently possible, if it hasn’t in places already. The energies of the Spirit World and this world have never been so interchangeable. This is the Butterfly Effect in full force.

Under this fragile veil existed a flurry of activity. I was shown the Ancestors whose lives were lived hundreds of thousands of years ago as well as those who were embodied in more recent times. I was shown the distinct activity of the Grandmothers, in particular. Like large numbers of busy koi just beneath the surface of a pond, it was as if the Grandmothers were “swimming” right under the surface of the veil. Grandmothers from Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania, North, and South America joined hands with all other Sisters who have ancestralized thus far in the Spirit World. As I asked my helping spirits more questions for clarity and I was shown that our collectively ancestralized Grandmothers are working to shift the matriarchal energies from the Otherworld, banding together amongst different cultures and realms for one united purpose.

I was shown that on the individual level, the Feminine is changing in this world. This is no surprise. Many of us are consciously or unconsciously being called to navigate through uncharted territory in our own unique discomforts related to fully embodying ourselves. These patterns may have been created long ago, but they are showing themselves at this time so that change can happen with the embodied ones now. It was certain that not only are people in a body now carrying patriarchal patterning that has been hardwired into their consciousness through their Mother Wounds, but these same people have been steeped in a tea of sorts of certain inhospitable environments for millennia in regards to the Feminine. Such wiring can be so subtle that it lies beneath the surface of our awareness at times, but still affects us all deeply, regardless of gender identity. The long-term affects of our past lives, as well as our Ancestors’ burdens from those past lives, in addition to our own wounding from this time and our blood and bones Ancestors of this life are echoing all off of each other at once, like whale songs in a deep, realmless sea.

Our own individual wounding may present as people-pleasing, being a target of additional trauma after speaking up and asking for help. Others may have experienced envy and jealousy from others, or others being threatened by them. Still others are working through numerous magical lives of being empowered, helping others with their wisdom, and having communities turn on them. The list goes on. The issue boils down to those who have dimmed their light in order to not be targeted. What is most grievous is that the targeting is mostly done by others within close range of their confided radius.

To quote Bethany Webster, author of Discovering the Inner Mother: A Guide to Healing the Mother Wound and Claiming Your Personal Power:

It’s a paradox that we arrive at unity consciousness by first committing to fully embracing the pain of our deepest aloneness, which resides in the Mother Wound, the site of our first heart-wound as a human being. Any place of pain or wounding can serve as a doorway to higher consciousness. The Mother Wound is a particularly potent access point because it touches our deepest vulnerabilities as human beings and impacts every area of our lives. One could say the Mother Wound serves as a “birth canal” of the Divine Self. (https://www.bethanywebster.com/blog/the-mother-wound-as-initiation-into-the-divine-feminine/)

As with most ancestral and individual healing, healing the Mother Wound is a big process. As I explain to clients who work with me for Ancestral Healing, this kind of healing takes as long as it takes when we are in the repair process. Culturally, we can sometimes view healing through a capitalistic lens. We want quick fixes for this kind of wounding without remembering the feminine aspects of self-compassion, self-love, patience, and gentleness, which are most impactful for metabolizing our growth. Wounds such as the Mother Wound took millennia to be created with hundreds of years of patriarchal patterning and hardwiring. I intuit that it will take some time to peel back all the layers that inform our way of life in all the aspects that it does now, whether we see them or not. Healing begins with acknowledgement, and we cannot do that without seeing how deep the wound goes. In any case, it’s an important piece of work, not just individually, but collectively. This rise of the feminine does not overpower the masculine with force, but softens it with vulnerability, rawness, authenticity in all forms, as well as presence.

I have been shown that this shift will benefit all of life on this planet, including all of our non-human kin. So, just because it takes time and patience, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t begin at all. It takes courage to begin rocking the boat once again to create this type of domino-effect. The healing we do now will ripple down into the lives of our grandchildren’s grandchildren. Let’s hold those unborn ones in the Light today and always.
